• The IDC sensor does not come into the condition where the level detection is available (retracted position = IDC sensor shutter is open) within a given period of time after the 2nd transfer release solenoid has turned ON.

• The 1st transfer release sensor is not activated (retracted position) within a given period of time after the 1st transfer release solenoid has turned ON.
• The 1st transfer release sensor is not deactivated (pressed position) within a given period of time after the 1st transfer release solenoid has turned ON.

 You can. You have to remove the fuser, and replace the counter reset fuse that is soldered into

the wiring harness, then re-install the fuser. 10 minute job but not a one I would recommend

unless you know the machine pretty well. Depending on your location and service options

I would try to find a local independant repair person who can do this for you.

I reset 20 to 30 of these fusers per year. Note you can also reset your transfer belt unit as well as your Imaging Units as well.

1. Turn ON the power switch.
NOTE:
• Make sure that the USB cable, (the network cable, and the fax cable) are not connected to the machine.
2. From the Menu, select [Service Mode] → [Supplies] → [Consumables Replace] → [Transfer Belt Unit] and execute this function to reset the transfer belt unit counter value.
3. From the Menu, select [Admin Setting] → [Printer Setting] → [Quality Settings] → [Gradation Adjust] → [AIDC Process] and execute this function.
4. Connect the USB cable, (the network cable, and the fax cable) to the machine.

 for some reason every person who's ever worked on C25/C35 always confuses 0096 (first transfer pressure retraction) with 0094 (second transfer pressure retraction)

new or old, lubricate the sliding rails and cam lobes at friction areas on each side of the belt to prevent the damage to the 1st transfer pressure retraction drive (0096)

ensure its reassembled correctly before installation.

once damaged its game over, its a preventative measure not a fix.
