I have a machine that when you power up the machine says PLEASE WAIT and just sits there. It does not give a SC code. I cannot get in to SP, I tried to do a reset to no avail. I have also swapped the control board. I hate tech induced problems Try replacing the HDD. ... I have used simple hdd from local computer store. ................... I have replaced 2 HDD -s so far without any problems. ............. I agree with Nemo, a standard HDD purchased from a computer store will work, but if you have one from another machine that's even better. .......... the machine stops copying during a copycycle and on the toutchscreen says the machine copying. Even there is paper jammed in the machine there is no message that there is a paper jam in the machine and the customer can't not use the operation panel functions. The only solution for the custumer is set the machine off/on then he can see on the display the paper jams and remove the paper. I have don already a format HHD and replace the controller board and upgrade the firmware and that was not the solution. ..... ............ Dear Sean, ........but.... no answer ...no help....well... I am 20 years active techician in copiers, Ricoh Gr dealer for 2002 , 2003 , ( 2-3 ONLY years dealer ), and AT 2003 first Dealer in Greece. I sold in a dead-market for ricoh (East Crete ), many many machines from the no-where . NOW I'am not author* dealer of ricoh. But the customer payed the money for ricoh company. Today the customer needs HELP. I trust YOU to solve that. But the reallity, is the problem with the customer , He wants to work the machine !. ( History : The mach* started 25 days before ,with black copies, after , Copying, Now loading, sc 819 Loading and we off / on and may be gets Ready ). After many days, that I asked help from an author* dealer in GR, they talk to me , not send flash card and update firmware. Also today customer, by himself ,called them to ask the solution. Why ? , we dont payed the machines ? (this is not the first time , also troubles with 1224, 2018, 1027 etc. that you don't Know yet. ). Dear ????? 2015-09-25
