Error message "Service Req E511"
  1. Power the printer off, wait 30 seconds, and then power it on again.
  2. Remove the photoconductor unit.
  3. Check and clean the photoconductor and transfer belt.
  4. Clean the TR0 sensor in the printer.
  5. Resolve any toner spillage inside the printer.
  6. Reinstall the photoconductor, close all the covers, and then power the printer off and on.
  7. What to do if the problem remains.

The error message "Service Req E511" means that part of the photoconductor unit (PCU) called the transfer belt is not being detected.

This article explains what may cause the issue, and how you can resolve it.

Note:

The images in this article generally depict the AcuLaser C1100, but the procedures are the same for the AcuLaser CX11N, CX21N and all variants.

  1. Power the printer off, wait 30 seconds, and then power it on again. If the error has cleared, print a document. If the error has not cleared, repeat this process and check if the error clears when you power on the printer again. Repeat this a maximum of three times if necessary. If the error returns after repeating this process three times, follow the steps below.

  2. Remove the photoconductor unit (PCU).

    1. Ensure that the printer is powered on, and then open Cover B.
