Oce 9400 error code   0502 toner concentration

low toner or high toner, pump, clean and start

I have an oce 9400-2 giving me error 0502 . Does anyone have a manual and give me the description of the code

0502 toner concentration was not reached in 5 minutes, unit says"conditioning"

is the toner hopper pumping toner?
next would be the toner setup adjustment.
if that did correct the problem, the toner sensor would be replaced and readjusted. finally the last item in the fault would be the main cpu pwba.

...........................501.........

 hello i have a oce 7056 with a 0501 code how can i correct it? p[lease help

 Hi,
The company I am working for just purchased an
Oce 9400(Used). We plugged it in and it said, “READY”, but when we tried to print to it gave us an “ERROR 0501” and told us to, "SWITCH OFF/ON". The manual told me to check the paper path then turn the plotter back on. Nevertheless, the error remains but the paper path is clean. The manual then said to call the key operator (whatever/whoever that is.)

I was wondering if anyone might have an error code list and/or could tell me what this error number might mean.

I read the post about the guy with a different model plotter but same error number. The post said it was probably extreme amounts of toner, so I opened up the part of the plotter where the toner gets put in and cleaned out any excess toner. I turned the plotter back on but it still gives me the same error.

Please, if anybody knows anything about the error number or where I might be able to look it up please respond.

Thank you for you time,

It means the toner density voltage is either too high or too low.You need to go into the service mode and set the toner sensor value to around 115 the run a print and see if its too light or dark on toner.that should give you a starting point
